Four Hour Lunch at the Greenroom

I was at the Greenroom this past Saturday for what was my second time. The Cultural District maintains restaurants, art galleries and performance venues and some of my favorite places are all three of these things at one time. We were lucky enough to find a patio seat in the shade (where it was still 26º out…) to enjoy a fresh lunch and a few delicious Sangria’s. During our tenure, we were treated to a live music performance by Barbara Samuels and a few good laughs, the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The Greenroom is owned and run by Nathan Flavel (GM and co-founder of Kelowna Actors Studio), Randy Leslie (the artistic director and co-founder of Kelowna Actors Studio), Donna and Gord Brayshaw (Art Supporters) and is located at 101-1360 Ellis Street which places it as part of the Library Plaza Parkade. Check it out, sit down for a bite or a bevvy, settle down with “Intentions” by The Whitest Boy Alive for full effect.
