The Lake Country Art Gallery (10356A Bottom Wood Lake Road) is having a free film screening on July 10th at 2pm at Creekside Theatre (10241 Bottom Wood Lake Road) in Lake Country. There they’ll be screening work by Mark A. Lewis, Mike McKinlay, and Shannon Lester. The Lewis feature ILL FATED and The Art Consumers by drag duo Kiss Kiss Bang Bang will be shown, as well as a short by Mike McKinlay. There will also be a live performance by Kiss Kiss Bang Bang!

ILL FATED “plunges the viewer into the boxed in world of Jimmy, a small-town teen who seeks a better life but who sees dead-end signs at every turn out of town.”

The Art Consumers was filmed on location in New York City. The Kiss Kiss gals pose as European art collectors in order to fool a young American couple into becoming their next victims.
