National Geographic Selects Local Photographer!

Ryan Donn sent this article my way. He sits down and talks with local Photographer, Shawn Talbot, a man I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside twice in the last couple years thanks to our mutual friend, Loyal Wooldridge.

This summer, Talbot’s photograph of Cormorant fisherman was selected as the editors pick by the National Geographic from a pool of over 12,000 images. Ryan recently sat down to interview Shawn at the Bean Scene coffee house to talk about the story behind his photographs. Click play on the icon below to hear Shawn talk about each picture.

Hear Shawn talk about the fish who double as accountants. Were still researching if they use the Chinese abacus.
