A Review on: A Very Indie Thanksgiving Concert at Kelowna Community Theatre

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to recap on the wonderful bands that played on Friday, October 5th last week. The concert started a bit late, but once it got started it was definitely worth it.

The night held four bands, all of which are local. The lineup went as follows: Windmills, Joyful Door, Van Damsel & Fields of Green.

Each band has a unique take on experimental rock/indie, with some influences of punk as well. The range of talent is immense and any one of these bands is worth seeing again.

My only complaint is the venue — I mean, how can you get into the music when you have to sit in an auditorium? But that didn’t take away from an amazing evening.

If you aren’t familiar with these bands, I highly recommend you check out their bandcamp/myspace pages or facebook pages for more information!

I made links for each bands name above, so click those for more information on great local talent!

See you at the next show!
