Once i have more information I will post it!

The BFA students are graduating in April, SO, we are going to celebrate with good food, art and friends! The opening show/party begins on April 16th at 7:00 pm and runs until 10:00 pm (the gallery will be open the week following as well). Entrance and food are free, booze will cost a bit. The excitement begins when we start to convert the entire Fine Arts building into an Art Gallery. This means new paint, clean floors, empty hallways and blocked windows. Before and after shots will be taken, only once we begin to transform the place.

Anyways, more information coming soon, but keep your calendars OPEN.

For The Love of God: Blasphemy Art Exhibition (Take Two)

Held in the FINA Gallery at UBCO, the second attempt for this exhibition began on Monday, January 10 at 9:00am  and ran through till Friday, January 14 at 7:00pm. The previous exhibition was cancelled by the faculty last September, so the artists were required to revise the content in order to show it.

Works by Paul Giles, Matthew Brown, Amber Choo and Darren Sim.

Live @ the Streaming Cafe

Last night, November 13/2010, I was privileged enough to attend a free show at the Streaming Cafe, with two amazing performers Zachary Lucky and Andy Shauf. Each sat on a single chair in front of the packed cafe, taking time in between songs to awkwardly answer the questions as they streamed on a laptop sitting in front of them.
