We invite you to come celebrate spring with Fresh in Fashion, an event that combines local clothing boutiques and stylists to bring you the latest trends.

The blossoms are blooming while the freshest looks are hitting our runway (at the Habitat on 248 Leon Ave of course). April tulips are popping up along with our favourite fashion icons in Kelowna and they will be sure not to disappoint. Commanding the catwalk will be MAN + WOMAN HOME and FROCK Clothing styled by Antidote Hair. A live performance from Cosmic Co-Motion will satisfy your spring fever.

Don’t forget to dress up! So don your most stylish attire and spring in for a night of high-fashion, cocktails and entertainment.

As usual there will be a photo booth and silent auction to keep things fresh and inspiring.

Because we love our community, proceeds from this event will be going to Kelowna Women’s Shelter.

Windmills – Her’s Place

Windmills releases a live recording of his previously unreleased song “Her’s Place.” From the man himself:

“Her’s Place” is a nostalgic reflection on the summers of my youth spent in Northern Ontario surrounded by family on a small lake north of Timmins. It is far and away the most personal song I’ve ever written.

Lee Watkins and I talked about creating a video and I wanted to challenge us both to do something we hadn’t done before. So Lee set up his cameras, I recruited Cameron Lutz on percussion and Rob Raybould on bass (who also recorded the live audio) and we set out one hot evening in Lee’s studio with a 15 pack of Pabst to record a song with instrumentation we’d practiced the day before. This is the result.
